The Archives: Purpose and History

This is a record of astounding lapses in common sense and good judgment from otherwise profoundly intelligent people. The papers currently being posted here were collected from middle- and high-schoolers at a high-level college prep school by myself, a classmate of theirs, more than ten years ago. Except where noted, these were actually handed in for grading.

Eventually, I will run out of these. I will take submissions; please contact me if you have any essays, papers, quizzes, tests, or other materials that are bad enough to be good enough.
